The next couple of weeks passed by in a blur. I didn't see much of Matt, but i did here he was "hooking up" with Crystalis... a lot.
For some reason that bothered me, I'm no too sure why. I mean i guess i was starting to miss hanging out with him. I think i was starting to like him.
Getting all those thoughts out of my head, i mean if he only thought of me as his thing to protect then i needed to get all thoughts of us being together out of my head.
Meko had agreed to train me. I needed some kind of defense if i was ever caught alone, even though he assured me that would never happen.
We trained like people on a mission. At first i sucked, i admit it. I mean come on i was a girl who was always on the run and only had to take care of lowly vamps from time to time. I never thought i would be taking on more than one vamp at a time.

Matt: Crystalis i don't know what to do anymore. She is driving me nuts. She challenges everything i say and i can't leave her alone for five minutes without people trying to attack her.

Matt: what the..lets get changed and see what thats about.
Matt: What the hell happened?
Meko: We were just sparring...and i..she told me she could handle it. She's not moving. She's bleeding internally, i can sense it. She needs to be bled out and given blood.
Matt: Nobody fucking touch her. Ill do it.
Meko: Matt..we need to..
Matt: NO! You've done enough. Ill take her to her room and ill take care of her.
Meko: Matt!
Matt: BACK THE FUCK OFF!
Meko: Sheesh, alright, alright.
Matt walking to her room: Its going to be ok Lancey, ill take care of you. Im here for you.
